Don't Miss a Blast for Kids (and Adults Too!)
Get your kids active and out of the house! Bring them to the Blast. Let your kids run around Hyde Park Square while friends and family cheer them on
June 25.
Race day kids run registration (for $20) will be available beginning at 9:00AM on Hyde Park Square. Every participant of the run will receive a t-shirt.
Kids races will be staged before the 4-mile race in the intersection of Shaw and Erie just opposite the 4-mile finish line and will follow the below schedule. Depending on the number of kids in each age group, we will have multiple waves to ensure a fun and safe event for each competitor.
The races will run away from the Start/Finish area on Erie to staggered turnaround points and return to the finish line. As the kids finish, they can claim their medal and a special snack.
2-3 Year Olds (.1 Mile)
4-6 Year Olds (.2 Mile)
7-9 Year Olds (.5)
10-13 Year Olds (.7 Mile)
