"Running River" Handcrafted Coffee Table
Ken Schenker has been in the construction business for forty three years, as an interior trim carpenter.
“I have always enjoyed the beauty of wood. Trees are often discarded because of bug infestation and storm damage. When the trees are removed they are usually cut up for firewood or grinded up for mulch. We take the wood and give it new life by making various styles of tables, cutting boards and other wood related products.
The first time I saw a live edge table I fell in love with the concept. The table I am donating is called a live edge river table. The wood we are using is a spalted maple. There is a bronze epoxy center river running through the top of the table with a hand rubbed finish. It has metal hairpin style legs painted black the This coffee table is 18” tall 24” wide and 52” long".
