The Houston Hearts of Gold Chapter of The Cure Starts Now, presents its fourth annual Hearts of Gold Night! The event will be held on February 8, 2020 at the Southside Clubhouse. Since this would be the year that Nicole would be celebrating her prom, we thought we would have a mini prom of our own. Put on your dancing shoes and dance the night away. If you can still fit into your prom duds, let’s see it! There will be dinner, wine and beer open bar, DJ, dancing, and extensive silent auction.

Ms. Desserich co-founded with her husband, Keith, The Cure Starts Now, which today has over 40 chapters and has funded $13.8 million in pediatric brain cancer research towards the Homerun Cure™. She co-authored the bestselling book, “Notes Left Behind” in 2009 detailing the journey with her daughter, Elena, through her battle with DIPG. She is also an entrepreneur and CFO of three companies with experience in financial operations for over 20 years. She will be discussing where your donation dollars go in the realm of new research.
All proceeds from the event benefit The Cure Starts Now and will support novel pediatric brain cancer research.
